PostaWeek/PostaDay
Checking my photographs for a couple of pictures that speak to each other – This is what I came up with – hope you enjoy them.
While I was trying to get my camera out of the back of my truck, these two elk were banging heads. Just as I got ready to photograph them they quit. It looks like they were talking it over and walked away.
PostaWeek/PostaDay
My room today is a one room do it all because it is in our motor home. Are room acts as a gathering place to socialize – watch TV-and relax.
To sleep and to eat, which most of the cooking and eating was outside.
With so many guys in the room , it got kind of cluttered
These pictures were taken during an archery competition which my wife and I went on several shoots. Our gift to the boys was to give them a dry place to sleep and not have to eat all there meals at a diner. We cooked and cooked , fed them bacon, eggs, biscuits for breakfast and for lunch it was usually a couple of Boston butts That would be around four o’clock. The guys normally did not have anything to eat from breakfast until 4:00PM. The boys paid for food all fees we just paid for fuel, I think they even gave us money for that.
The guy in red is my wife’s son, also are grandson is among them.
It also subs as a dog house and their toys.
You can see that my wife and I have had a few dogs over the years, all of them rescued. It wasn’t until after we had them several years that they had health problems. We loved them and they loved us, we gave them probably the best years of their lives. They shared our house and the room that I show in the above pictures.

Doing this post gave me an insight of how blessed I have been the past many years. All of these photos I have done, maybe not in the exact – plane ,hot air balloon, train, river paddle boat, bike race, but it sure was the same motor coach.
Yes I had many occasion to fly in air planes In the Navy and from Los angles to Savannah two or three times a year.
I got to fly in a hot air balloon in a festival in Albuquerque, NM
I rode this train in Bush Gardens in Tampa,FL
I didn’t ride this paddle boat but I rode the one in Disney Land in Anaheim, California and the paddle boat in Disney World in Orlando,Florida.
I did ride in a couple of bike races in California.
If you have been following my blog then you probably know that this is our motor coach that we have been traveling around the United States with.
Yes we have pretty blessed to have done a lot of things and been to a lot of places, met a lot of nice people and made many friends.
One time we spent a week or two in a forestry camp ground on the North side of Mt Lassen National Park. There is a little stream there and I went fishing and met fellow fisherman, struck up a conversation seemed to hit it off. Every day that we were in the park we would meet up and swap fish stories.. One day a fish that I caught I had asked him if he wanted it, He said no, he was saving room in his freezer for the big one that he was going to catch. I replied that I had plenty of room in my freezer when I eat it I’ll tell everyone you caught it. LOL

Street scenes from Savannah, Georgia – River Street
This a cobble stone road leading down to river street from the main street that parallels river street. Savannah has shuttle busses from in town to river street because there is very limited parking in that area.
Shuttle bus
Balcony dining and looking out over the Savannah River. I don’t remember the name of this place but I do remember they have the best darn Fried Green Tomatoes.
People gathering in front of the candy store. Good place.

This probably is as close as I’ll get of doing a Selfie. I don’t use a camera phone so I wouldn’t be doing a selfie . I just happen to have this one that I took of myself last year.it just looked good in the car window at the time.
I do have a few others that someone else took of me with my granddaughter. This probably one of my favorites.
Here I am carving a turkey that I finished BBQ.This was Thanksgiving dinner with my mother-in –law and my wife at Ventura,California. I was a lot younger back then and Life was good. Nancy and I would good down to this place 2 to 3 weekends a month. People would ask were are you going this weekend and we would tell them to our beach front property.
I can’t find too many picture of me because I’m usually the one taking the pictures. Or I don’t like them.
Posta Week
I have been fortunate to be in many places when it was breakfast time. Here my wife and, I’m taking the pictures, I are having a cup of coffee sitting by our little fire place looking out on Lake Sinclair ,GA. Enjoying the coolness of the morning and the scenery, while watching the boats go by.
We were at Medina Lake ,TX having breakfast in our motor home when we looked out the window and saw all these deer. WE went out – I took this picture and several more. My wife started walking closer and closer, they almost would eat out of her hand. There were many more then just the few I have in this picture.
Normally I have bacon and egg over easy. These haven’t been flipped over yet. I don’t normally take pictures of my food or drink. But I did have these two.
Can’t get by with out a cup of coffee or two in the morning.
Good Morning to y’all.
When my wife and I got our first motor home, we would spent just about three weekend a month down by the ocean. My wife would work four days a week and ten hours a day 4/10’s. I would take the motor home down to the beach on Thursday morning and park it, then come back home. When she would get off of work we would loads up the dogs and us ,plus what ever else we needed – head for the beach. We would stay until Sunday afternoon then head for home ,which was only 45 miles away. We would do that almost three out of four week ends a month. We would love to watch the dolphins putting on a show for us or everyone else that was watching. The pelicans always fascinated me because they would always fly in formation. I would wonder how they came to the decision to who would lead the flock. The sea gulls would fly back and forth depending if someone was feeding them. They weren’t as much fun to watch as the pelicans or the dolphins. A couple of times we would saw a whale come by but he would be so far out that mainly all we could see was him spouting water. I don’t blame him, I spit that salty water out too.
I just loaded the parrot in for the look down part of this challenge and because he’s sharp in all of his grandeur.
