Heh! Dude what cha got in that cup.
This is a sign that caught our eye while driving in New Orleans. WE laughed wondering if we did stop we would get a ticket or if we didn’t stop we would get a ticket. We took our chance and stopped.
This sign wasn’t clear if the arrow was pointing to the RV Park or the doggie potty land Having traveled in our RV for many years we know that it was just as important to know were the doggies place was in the park. This is only sign we ever ran across that let you know right off the bat were we had to walk our dog.
It is important that everyone knows that this is a duck crossing area. Just across the street is the Augusta,GA Green Jackets Baseball Park and signs saying Mercedes Benz parking only. I thought to my self – WOW these ducks have clout.
When Sunday morning my wife and I and some friends went to the flea market in
San Diego when I saw this sign. I had to have a picture of this. When I was
taken the picture the man came walking towards me telling me, NO Pictures. To
late I already took it.This sign made me laugh because it is so true that it is funny. Today kids have it so made that they don’t know how good they have it.
There have been a few years that we have been on the West Coast for the Holidays.
Nancy and I bought a Christmas tree and set it up outside our motor home at the RV Park in (Jamul,CA) Many people would come by and tell us that they loved our tree.
We decided to have a little Christmas party with lots of food and snacks and a few of our friends and neighbors.
Everyone enjoyed themselves. We sat around the fire pit and talked and laughed. Had plenty of food and drinks and some snacks though out the party, there was probably about 20 people here.
Our friend Jack came over and invited Nancy and I to he and Joyce’s house for Christmas dinner. It was great, everyone made us feel welcome and the food was awesome . Joyce is a very good cook. Thank You, Jack and Joyce we had good time.
We got together again on New Years Day with several of our friends, decided to have a pot luck type of dinner to celebrate New Year’s Day. There was probably 18 people there. Again everyone enjoyed themselves there was plenty of food and drink for everyone. Everyone left happy and full and probably with a little buss.
Wow!! What a Christmas and New Year holiday !!!
This was probably one of the best holiday season we ever had.
It all started with a Christmas Tree. Thank you Christmas Tree and all our friends for making this one of our best Holiday ever. Thank You Jesus for allowing us to celebrate your Birthday.
Going through my library of photos, I finally stumbled on what I wanted to post for the weeks challenge. There are a few of them that I like and really don’t want to eliminate any of them. What the heck I’ll post several photos!
These are a series of photos that I took one evening on the Coronado Beach in Coronado,Ca. We were out with friends for dinner there. After dinner we all decided to stroll along the beach area. I just happened to have my camera with me, of course I most generally do. Had a good dinner and an enjoyable evening.
I love photographing these little creatures. They just amazes me how they can stop in mid air and just stay in a holding pattern. Sometimes they wait there for their turn, other times they attack and chase the other humming birds away.
When I was trying to photograph the humming birds, this day, there were some large birds that kept feeding at the humming bird feeder. I tried to get a picture of those birds but they were just to quick for me. Never did get a picture. It was strange to me because I’ve never seen anything like that before.
Humming Bird in Flight
This little guy was cute as heck and the guy was either brave or stupid. The chipmunk was a wild creature and it could have bitten him. It was a photo moment and I couldn’t resist taken their picture.
Wild hungry chipmunk
I was traveling along the ridge of the Grand Canyon taking pictures,I’ve been here before, this time I wanted to improve on what I did last time. What a breath taking experience and views. This time I was looking for some shots that popped and would have been worth the trip, was grateful that I accomplished what I came for. I felt if I came away with a couple of really good photos, I’d be happy. This photo below is one of those shots.
Years ago went to Hawaii on a photo travel trip with my class. I took a picture of a water falls that was really good. I entered it in the Los Angeles County Fair and won an Honorable Mention. I was told that if I had a person at the top or bottom of the falls it would have taken a gold medal. So when I saw these two people on that rock, over looking the canyon, Click. Click.
Two free brave souls
Sometimes you just have to let the kid out.

Post a Day / Post a Week
Where we stay, when we are in San Diego, there are lots of humming birds. We have to fill the feeder at least once a day. I had several beautiful photos with sometimes as many as seven birds in the same shot. Most of those photos, I was standing so close, they were buzzing my head. There were sometimes three or four in a holding pattern waiting to get to the feeder it was like a feeding frenzy.
It was so amazing to see four or five humming birds hovering and their wings moving so fast that their wings were almost a blur. Being that close I could hear the roar of their wings as they buzzed over my head.
Unfortunately, when I was transferring the photos from our other computer I lost them.
This just popped up on yahoo and because I spend so much time in San Diego it grabed my attention. Plus I’ve photographed this same hotel and beach.

CORONADO, Calif. (AP) — Like a Hollywood star, Coronado’s 1.5 mile-long beach literally sparkles, thanks to the mineral mica glinting in its sand.
This is just a partial article on Yahoo a few hours ago.
Why it is so striking to me is because I took a picture at night of the Coronado Hotel hand held, it shows some hand shaking. This is such a gorgeous and luxurious hotel.
